Innsbruck, Tivoli W1, 1300 spectators, 13.04.03

Tough loss vs archrival Vikings!!

Despite the fact that big events took place in Innsbruck at the same time (Innsbrucks soccer team had a very important home game and a big international gymnasitcs tournament took place) 1.300 frenetic fans came to the game of the big archrivals of the past two years.
The game started with bad luck for the Raiders, a Field Goal was called back due to a technical foul. The first Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders punt was blocked and the Chrysler Vikings QB Olson scored easily from the Raiders 1 Yard line (Kramberger kick good - 0:7). After Raiders receiver Andreas Pröller fumbled a caught pass and the Vikings recovered it, they put up points again after this easy ball gain - RB Lehner scored on a 10 Yard run (Kramberger kick good - 0:14). In the second quarter the Vikings came up big when WR Frickey scored on a 12 Yard pass from Olson (Kramberger kick good - 0:21). 3 minutes before halftime Vikings QB scored once again on a QB sneak from the 1 Yd line (Kramberger kick good - 0:28).
After the halftime the Vikings kept on scoring - WR Rene Danner on a 16 Yard pass from Olson (Kramberger kick good -0:35) and WR Oberzeller on a 14 Yard pass from Olson in the 3rd QT (Kramberger kick good - 0:42). In the 4th quarter the Vikings scored on a QB Olson 1Yd run the third time in this game (Kramberger kick good -0:49).
Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders Manager Daniel Dieplinger after the game: "Congratulations to a very strong and solid Vikings team. It simply was not the day of the Raiders, we did not play on the level we are used to and we did make to many mistakes to compete with them."
